State and municipal-funded elections. (Matching money for small-dollar donations to make all candidates viable at a minimum level)
Guaranteed and required access to public media, on a weekly basis, for candidates and elected officials at all levels, to give the public access to them on the record in an archived online forum (i.e. YouTube-type video conferences)

Citizen Oversight:

Constitutional Conventions every 20 years to get buy-in from each new generation, and re-express basic values of our Constitutional representative democracy and secular, pluralistic, egalitarian, citizen self-governments, of, by, and for the people.
Citizen-run commissions to oversee the Police, Healthcare, Judicial, and State Corporate organizations.
