Psiphon - a tool for freedom

Over 40 countries around the world block free internet access. They use Firewall software to automatically limit what information people can access online. It is particularly troublesome that world powers like China have bribed Google and Yahoo to help them capture and imprison Chinese dissidents.

In December 2006 a new software tool became available that allows people in repressive regimes to gain free access to the internet through friends in other countries.

PSIPHON is a FREE downloadable internet server that can be used to access the internet using an encrypted 'channel' that Firewalls will be unlikely to block. This works because if the repressive nations allow ANY kind of internet access, which they always will because without it they can not compete, then users can use that line of access to tap into the internet access of someone in a free country.

Download Psiphon, mirror it, use it on your servers and share the IP address with any of your friends in Saudi Arabia, U.A.E., Iran, China, North Korea, or Kansas.
